Orange County EMS Station #4 & Medical Examiner

Orange County proposed re-purposing a 4,260 SF Building at 3800 Hwy 70 in Efland, NC for their new EMS & Medical Examiners Quarters. The existing 4.2 Acre site was home to a golf cart factory and a residence.

After SCNA performed the cost and needs assessment, the county decided it was more advantageous to demolish both buildings and construct a new facility for the new EMS & Medical Examiners Quarters.

The new EMS station features: bunk rooms, decon laundry, work room, kitchen, dayroom, toilet shower rooms, offices, staff patio, storage, and ambulance bays.The new Medical Examiners Quarters includes: lobby, restroom, toilet shower room, work room, examination area, body cooler and a drive for delivery.
